About us and what we do
Streetlytes operates a Soup Run the First every other Saturday of each month at 7:30pm at Victoria/House of Frazier. We provide hot tea/coffee, sandwiches, hot stew, curry and pasta. We also provide blankets and clothing.
Currently, the outreach team feeds over [500] homeless and vulnerable people each month by operating a mobile food and clothing bank in the Boroughs of Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. The food and clothing bank provides hot and nutritious meals, clothing, blankets and hygiene kits.
All meals are freshly cooked in our kitchens and Streetlytes staff has completed the Food & Catering Hygiene Level II certification course and are in full compliance of the health & safety requirements in regards to preparation, handling and storage of food.
Recent statistics have shown that 80% of the homeless have drug and alcohol issues and we believe that by providing workshops to all concerned will raise the level of awareness, but more importantly, give hope and inspiration to those who are still struggling in this area.
